J.D. students are eligible to receive the certificate distinction on their official transcript upon the successful completion of all requirements for graduation in either the civil law curriculum or the common law curriculum and LAW-L878 International Law plus nine (9) credit hours from the following list of electives.

Students must maintain a G.P.A. average of 3.0 or better in all classes taken to satisfy the course requirements for the certificate, while also graduating with an overall G.P.A. of at least 2.50, in order for this distinction to be noted on their official transcript.
